1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the Liminal Light website and requests for massage and wellness services. By using the website or requesting a service, you agree to these terms where applicable.

2. Services

Liminal Light currently offers massage and wellness services in Barbados, including mobile treatments and treatment at the Liminal Light home studio in St James, subject to availability and confirmation.

A request submitted through this website is not an appointment confirmation. Your appointment is confirmed only when Liminal Light confirms the booking by an agreed communication channel.

3. Pricing

Prices displayed on the website are in Barbados dollars (BBD) unless stated otherwise. Prices, availability and service offerings may change. Any applicable taxes or charges will be handled as required by law.

4. Client responsibility

You must provide accurate contact information and tell Liminal Light before treatment about relevant conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, recent surgery, contagious illness or other circumstances that could affect treatment safety. Do not attend a treatment if you are acutely unwell or have a condition for which massage has been medically contraindicated.

5. Treatment boundaries

Massage and wellness services are complementary wellbeing services and are not medical diagnosis or treatment. Liminal Light does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist, registered healthcare professional or emergency service.

6. Mobile appointments

For mobile appointments, you are responsible for providing a reasonably safe, suitable treatment space and accurate location information. Liminal Light may decline or end a session where conditions are unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Conduct and safety

Liminal Light has a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, sexual misconduct, threats, violence or other inappropriate behaviour. A session may be ended immediately where necessary for safety.

8. Website content

We aim to keep website information accurate, but content is provided for general information and may change. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.

9. Third-party services

The website may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, email providers, social platforms or future booking/payment services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Liminal Light branding, original text, imagery and website content belong to Liminal Light or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to applicable law, Liminal Light is not responsible for losses caused by information supplied inaccurately by a client, misuse of the website, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

12. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Barbados, subject to any mandatory rights a consumer may have under applicable law.
